Embarcadero Tableau
San Francisco is a place of contrasts, a quality that peaks my curiosity. The city is rich with history, yet modern too. Nature can be found in the parks and in the waters that surround its borders on three sides. Yet San Francisco also is busy with commerce and industry. Here, along the Embarcadero, I turn my head to the west and cast my eyes over the the mélange of geometric shapes and colors that make up a group of office buildings just south of Market Street. I wonder about the people who work there - what they do and where they live. -Lynette Cook
